I am Cristos Ferguson a Greek-American amateur photographer whose lens captures the vibrant essence of life in the bustling streets of Greece. I began my photographic journey under the guidance of the talented Bernadine Demos at an early age. However, life took me on a different path after high school, causing a hiatus in my photographic pursuits.
It wasn’t until the birth of my son that I found myself drawn back to the world of photography, reigniting a passion that had been dormant for two decades. Since then, I have immersed myself in the art, capturing the beauty and spontaneity of everyday moments. With an unwavering commitment to his craft, I have now dedicated 20 years to the art of photography.
Street photography has become my true calling, as I thrive on documenting life in its most authentic form within the bustling cityscape. My lens seeks out the natural habitat of his subjects – the city streets – where I skillfully freeze moments in time, showcasing the raw and unfiltered beauty of the urban environment.
My style leans towards candid portraiture, capturing individuals in the midst of their daily lives, often without their awareness. I have a unique ability to steal glimpses of people’s souls through my lens, preserving the genuine emotions and stories that unfold in the cityscape. Rather than interacting with his subjects, I choose to observe silently, allowing my photographs to narrate the untold stories of those he captures.
